About Outdoor Prolink

Outdoor Prolink is a members-only pro deal site for professionals working in the outdoor industry. We are seeking a new teammate for our Marketing and Account Management team! The Marketing team works directly with our 150+ outdoor brand partners - like Black Diamond, Dynafit, Big Agnes, and Arc’teryx to name a few - to drive their pro channel strategies, market their products to our members, and grow awareness of their brand and products in the professional community and beyond. Our Account Managers are looking for a highly organized and motivated individual to support them in these efforts.

About This Position

  • Location: Boulder, CO - Hybrid remote
  • Compensation: Starting at $55,000 per year

As the Marketing & Account Operations Associate, your daily responsibilities include:

  • Landing page - Manage ad placements and branded content for Outdoor Prolink, Pursuit Prolink and Outdoor Prolink Canada stores. Collaborate with Marketing Manager to plan placements for each store on a monthly basis. Collect and design assets for banner ads. Update and optimize placements, content and copy on a weekly basis based on sales performance and engagement data from Google Analytics.
  • Branded Content Management - Manage custom brand storefront pages to ensure that all content is seasonally appropriate and up-to-date. Make seasonal updates to brand imagery and storefront content. Collaborate with Marketing Manager to make strategic adjustments to storefronts that drive sales results.
  • Email marketing - Utilize Photoshop and Klaviyo to design beautiful, effective email campaigns catered towards the Pursuit Prolink audience. Write engaging, informative and fun email copy.
  • Account management - Provide support to select brand accounts and drive sales growth through pro channel marketing strategies. Collaborate with other Account Managers, Development, Operations, Customer Service and Data Management to provide a stellar customer experience for all Outdoor Prolink brands. Leverage PowerBI to monitor account sales performance and share insights with the marketing and sales team.
  • Public site maintenance - Manage content on Outdoor Prolink, Pursuit Prolink and Outdoor Prolink Canada public sites. Update imagery, copy and brand placements seasonally. Review and optimize all sites for best performance in search rankings (SEO, SEM).
  • General marketing support - General day-to-day support of the Account Management and Marketing team. Monthly data entry for account activities in SugarCRM. Assist with promotion setup. Assist with brand agreements. Collaborate with Account Managers, Business Development team, Operations team and Customer Service team to assist in onboarding of new brand accounts.

  • 2+ years of experience in email marketing, account management, website management, business administration, or related role.
  • Technical proficiency in creative design (Photoshop), email marketing (Klaviyo), web content management/HTML (Dreamweaver), performance analytics (Google Analytics, PowerBI), and operational tools (Excel, SugarCRM).
  • Bonus points: A background working in the outdoors or in the outdoor industries and/or general understanding and interest in outdoor gear.
